General Guild Rules

Rules

Behavior

Treat your fellow guild mates with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

Raid Invites

An officer begins invites at 7 p.m. PST. Invite priority is as follows:
  • Need / Officer Choice
  • Attendance to progression raids
  • Last time made to sit
Once the raid is full, members may go on standby and earn full DKP.

Initiates / New Members

Recruits must pass a 3-4 week initiate period after which their membership status will be determined by a full guild vote. Once you attain membership status, you will be given full forum access, guild bank access and have equal access to raids and drops. If the poll fails to yield a strong majority, the trial period may be extended an additional week and the poll reposted.

We do not require members to comment on why they voted the way they did, but officers would appreciate it.

Member Status

To maintain your Member status, you must average 75% raid attendance over the course of each month. Dropping below this without prior notification endangers your raid spot.

Inactive Status

You are allowed to remain in the guild if you stop raiding provided you log on at least once a month. Exceptions can be made if officers are notified.

If you wish to become a raiding member again, you must contact an officer and verify that there is a raiding spot available. If a spot is available, 75% raid attendance for two full raiding weeks is required to be promoted back to Member status.

Friends and Family

Each guild member is allowed to have 1 friend or family member invited into the guild with FnF status. More invites can be given at officer's discretion.

Guild members are responsible for the behavior and conduct of their friend and/or family member. If there is a problem with the conduct of a guild member's FnF, that guild member is expected to reign that person in.

Alts

Members can have an unlimited number of alts in the guild.

Guild Bank

Guild Bank funded equipment repairs are to be used ONLY for 25-man raids.

Enchanting and crafting materials are available without cost for main spec upgrades only. Contact an officer for access to those tabs. As a courtesy, please put equivalent value of what you take from the guild bank back in materials or gold. Remember that all that's there was donated by your fellow members.

Please sent items to Adazbank if you do not know / can't find room in bank.

DKP System

We use WebDKP to track DKP rewards: http://www.webdkp.com/dkp/Nordrassil/Warpath/

Items are assigned point prices with itemleveldkp, which bases item value on modifiers of item level x loot quality x item slot.

Each member earns a fixed amount of DKP for each hour of raid time. Bonuses to this rate may be given at a raid leader's discretion (typically for occasions such as guild first kills and overtime).

Upon promotion to Member status, you will be awarded +120 DKP. Initiates start with 0 DKP.

The DKP Cap is 1800 DKP. At the beginning of each raid week (Tuesday), the cap is applied to the current totals.

Loot Priority is Member > Initiate > Alt > FnF. Main spec gear always has greater priority than offspec, no matter member/initiate/alt/etc. Offspec itemsOffspec is defined as any gear not benefitting the role in which you primarily raid. For a Resto druid that'd be Feral or Moonkin, for a Shadow Priest that'd be Holy or Discipline, for an Arms warrior that'd be Prot, etc. will be /roll or loot council by officers at their discretion.

Once a Member stops raiding for 6 weeks, they will lose all their accumulated DKP.

Quitting and Retirement

When people go, there's not much can be helped. It's your choice and thats fine, people come, people go.

Please give one or more of the officers at least a few days notice if you plan to quit (the guild or the game) or retire from raiding. They need to know what's going on so that they can plan ahead to maintain the integrity of the raiding schedule.
